About Me

I moved from the United Kingdom to the US in 1995 with my husband and we made our new home in the Mid West.  We love to travel, so we return to the UK often to visit family, as well as visiting other countries to get a taste of their culture.  We also told ourselves that we would make the most of living in the large and varied United States, and so we try to visit as many different States as we can. Travel and Adventure are always good in my book, it sometimes pushes us out of our comfort zone, especially for me, and that’s not a bad thing.

There are also some tasty and amazing foods that we come across in our travels, and I do enjoy my food, so I thought it might be fun to document some of these delights along the way. I don’t pretend to be a writer, but will do my best to pass along tips and helpful information on locations I visit and I’ll try to tell you where we ate on our travels and what dishes we enjoyed, or not. For those of you not familiar with the phrase “noshing”, in English it means to snack or eat enthusiastically.

So hence the name of my Blog, Noshing on Adventure, a documentation of my adventures in travel and including some interesting eats along the way.  Hope you enjoy!
